The sign of a complete and utter psychopath.

A man collapses in the White House. Trump pays zero attention. The cameras are more important.

Unneeded ugly disfiguring new pylons are bad enough, but much worse is what 'Scottish' Labour supports Westminster in; wanting to impose new nuclear plants on Scotland: Unwanted; unneeded, risk-laden & unsustainable (untreatable radioactive toxic waste).
It's horrendous enough contemplating 105 miles of ugly pylons across the beautiful highlands without knowing that we generate more electricity in Scotland than we need or use.

I admire the SLC HQ in Hamilton, including interiors, but in a way it symbolises the brutal inanity of much 1960s architecture & planning. It rendered the adjacent urban town centre environment as one of those intensely hostile to pedestrians areas in the UK. A virtual commuters’ car-speeding track.
Who knew? South Lanarkshire Council HQ, originally Lanark County Buildings (1963) was in part modelled on the United Nations secretariat building in New York City, designed by a team that included Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer (1952).

Aye, Mike Johnson does seem a bit of a turkey as a House Speaker…
I’m not going to take the turkey out of the freezer until it’s defrosted.
Mike Johnson says he will not bring the House back in session until the government reopens

Demonstrating that there‘s no need to be a conventional profit-maximising, margins-chasing, short-term predatory opportunist in order to attract substantial & sustained private sector institutional funding. Well done the Scottish social housing sector.

Is there *any* industry corporate lobby that the ’Sir’ Keir Starmer UK Govt doesn’t seem to exist to serve?
Put off paying your bills for the sake of the economy.

Really, seriously? An ‘ex-SNP Minister’, from long ago, who’s a seriously aggrieved individual with an anti-SNP axe to grind & who’s gone on to join… Alba?!? Sorta reason that almost anything from a ‘Scottish’ Labour source just shouldn’t be taken seriously. I’m now out of this one thanks.

A huge lie was that Brexit was ‘the will of the people’. Labour politicians should seek to reverse Brexit, not perpetuate the lie. Got through on a small majority, more voted against it or abstained than voted for it, on an *advisory* referendum, corrupted by dark money & illegal electoral activity.
Left: Labour's Rosie Wrighting, "I voted to remain, I respect the decision of the vote.. Shouldn't reverse Brexit as its a decision made by the public"

Right: The public have recognised Brexit was a mistake, so why is Labour living in the past?

On SkyNews today didn’t Labour Minister (for education!) Bridget Phillipson imply that Senior police officers at West Midland Police were ‘banning football fans because they were Jewish’? Disturbing in the light of events & the facts?

Yes, ‘ex’ Minister. On trustworthy sources, oh you know, not like Scottish Labour - MP Micheal Shanks, reportedly now denying up to 1,000 GB Energy jobs were promised for Aberdeen…despite sitting in a HoCs select committee when the GB Energy CEO stated so. Then Sarwar on Grangemouth, plant or jobs.
What would you call a trustworthy source?

Thanks but I’ll check out that ‘claim’ about something ‘expected’ at some trustworthy source, not the Unionist Herald in its current reduced condition. On competence & UK Govt: vast sums still to be wasted on over-budget & over-timescale nuclear power, untested carbon capture ‘tech’; GE Energy etc

Yet more Labour plans, ‘targets’ & promises on thousands & thousands of energy jobs for Scotland. Not to be taken seriously this time around? At least the Scottish Govt involved, so some hope.

The trial of former DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson and his wife Eleanor Donaldson on charges relating to alleged historical sex offences is to be delayed again.

The judge said it now looked as if the trial would take place in 2026.
