When you begin a chapter in Dickens and you can tell he’s going to kill an orphan, is that the same pleasure for Victorians as when u are watching the latest Jurassic Park movie and you know the T-Rex will eat somebody? Like it’s the pleasure of the familiar motions of a beloved genre? lol
