Not everyone can participate in boots on the ground resistance.

Protesting is a privilege.

Boycotting is a privilege.

Many forms of resistance are privileges that are out of reach for the most vulnerable.

If you can’t be boots on the ground, here’s a community action item that needs support!
Urgent community action needed by Monday!

“DOE wants to remove 12 civil rights rules. Part of these are disability access protections. They say the rules are unnecessary & outdated”

This will mean buildings aren’t accessible to disabled people. Another step towards eliminating us from society
Speak Up Now: Protect Disability Access Rights!
Deadline to submit public comment is June 16th!

Assassins dress like cops & the secret police wear masks and no ID

Well. This makes me extra glad I chose the box of 440 masks that cost only 3x the box of 20 masks.

*bigass sigh* This country is literally too stupid to live.
My personal "5 years since the start of Covid" moment is remembering that in 2020, the US discovered it had allowed almost all its mask and PPE manufacturing to transfer to China for cost savings.

In 2025, PPE is still almost all made offshore, and we just encouraged China to end shipments to us.

I feel like it’s being overlooked that a policy based on the idea that kids are autistic, not trans, is essentially saying that autistic kids don’t know themselves enough to consent to healthcare. This is making a loophole that will make autistic kids exempt from Gillick competence. It’s dystopian.
Remember all that time I spent on Twitter banging on about how “gender critical” fascists keep talking about autism because they wanted the ability to deny autistic people, as well as trans people, bodily autonomy. Well, thanks to the widely discredited Cass Review, oh fuck, we’re heading there.

At his invitation, a group of transgender women formed an honor guard and greeted the coffin of Pope Francis when it arrived for internment at Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica today

I will remind people why things got better in the early 20th century, the workers organised, they went on strike, they refused to work unless they got what they wanted.

The richest had to cave in, because you actually have all the power.

It's time for it to happen again.

Remarkable from WaPo poll: Trump sinking fast on immigration among independents.

56% disapprove of handling of issue
62% oppose removing foreign students
52% oppose renditions to El Salvador
Only 21% want Abrego Garcia left there

Engage, Dems.

Trump Is Suddenly Bleeding Independents. A Brutal New Poll Shows Why.
Immigration was his best issue in the polls. But now he's sinking on it. Maybe Americans care about the rule of law after all.

This is what happens when too many people would rather hurt others than help themselves. Literally nobody in America is benefitting from this.

I just want to point out that in the face of an economic collapse threatening the older voters either approaching or in retirement, their support still remains strong likely due to the most egregiously immoral of his actions: Sending immigrants to a Central American gulag w/o any due process.

Honestly, this is what's needed. A little less word salad than him, but make things short and sweet. Blunt, even.
What if the secret to winning elections is somehow Trump's syntax. We need a guy to say stuff like "But we're going to abolish billionaires and we'll be doing it very soon. They'll be paying very high taxes but it'll be very fair. And frankly they haven't paid taxes in a very long time"

Every job you get AI to do is cash taken from working people, usually low earning freelancers. That money is now not in the system. You are not only making the world poorer culturally, you are making the economy poorer. And since there is no workable financial model for AI, not even moving money up.

We can speculate all day about the potential perils of shutting down the government vs. give Trump/Elon a blank check CR to decimate it all, including our social security and Medicaid.

It's a simpler choice.

We can either go down fighting on our feet or compliant on our knees.

I want the fight.

Amen. @schumer.senate.gov, as we New Yorkers know well, would use the making of a pastrami sandwich as an excuse for a Sunday press conference. Where is he? And I'm sick of @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social muted tones. It is time to shout in defense of democracy not just in America but in the world.
📌NOTE: Immediately after the vile attack on Zelensky by Putin's puppets Friday, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries should have called a joint press conference and explained to the American public the significance, heinousness and danger of that sickening surrender.

📌They should STILL be talking now.
