In 'How They Broke Britain', I do a pretty good job of detailing the depth & breadth of Tufton Street/Tory/Murdoch/Mail attempts to scupper the BBC, even as I castigate some presenters for going too easy on precisely the people who seek the Corporation's abolition. But I should have done more. 1/2

The government spends much more than it takes in tax. It funds this expenditure by selling bonds, i.e. being a safe haven for investors, or creating money, which they do all the time.
The idea that government spending must be balanced by tax, like a household budget, is a lie created by politicians.

Why doesn't Reeves withdraw the £700 billion of QE money held by commercial banks in variable rate interest accounts at BofE? At a stroke this would reduce the interest bill and the debt.

This was public money given to banks during COVID. They didn't earn it. It's not theirs!

The #TrumpPuppet's, Farage, press conference is live on Sky news and BBC where he is spouting these lines given by his extreme right wing, neo liberal, fascist bosses in the US.

Why do LibDems with 72 MPs v Reform's 5 not get this level of coverage?

I'm pro-union because I think workers should organize to balance the power that business owners have in various negotiations. It's true that unions have been weakened, but it's not because of multiculturalism. I would argue, it's because people seek to exploit divisions for their material interests.

There you have it, proof that so called "Scottish Labour" is just a branch of Westminster Labour taking its orders from Westminster.

Labour sees Scotland as a region of Britain not a country in the union of UK.

Energy is devolved and hence none of UK Energy dept's business.
