Announcing our first talk series artist: Claire Miller-Harder ✨ Claire's talk will take place on June 9th at 7 pm PST. She will explore Erasure Poetry (also known as Blackout Poetry), which is a form of poetry that takes an existing work and creates a new piece by striking through surrounding words until only a select number of words or lines are left. This talk is free and virtual! Learn more and register at www.eavesdropmagazine.ca/workshops A little bit about her: Claire Miller-Harder is a writer living on Vancouver Island. She holds an MFA from the University of British Columbia and she is the managing editor at Eavesdrop Magazine. Her writing has appeared in The Capilano Review, Room and filling Station, and her poem “Dishwashing” is cited among Notable Poems in Best Canadian Poetry 2020. Working in many forms and genres, her writing explores themes of belonging, grief, and the supernatural. You can request to follow her @claire.millerharder She may or may not accept 🌿

In a world that continues to threaten sovereignty and safety, we want to spread solidarity. In the face of bigotry, hatred, and theft of rights, we want your best political pushback, your sharpened claws and teeth, and your unhinged spirit choking them with their own hypocrisy.
