Anyone who makes a physics-based precision game in Unity needs to seriously consider porting the game to a different engine or just stop. Unity cannot handle real-time physics with any level of consistency and it makes those sorts of games actually terrible to play.

After nearly 3 weeks back in Indy with family, I'm getting ready to get back to Arizona!
Though, I think I finally made my decision, once I graduate with my B.S. Aerospace Degree in December, I may move back to Indy to take part in Purdue's post-grad engineering program!

I finished my drive from Arizona to Indiana and dear God. The worst drivers I experienced were in Missouri. Left lane campers and morons cutting you off going 10 under the limit as you initiate a pass.

With classes like Space Systems Engineering and Aerodynamics II (covering supersonic and hypersonic flow regimes) it was a challenge!

We, the US, need to copy Australia and enact compulsory voting laws nationally.
Give an option to abstain for any specific position, but make everyone vote under risk of fines due to not voting. Australia regularly has a 90%+ votership as a result.

I'm pretty stoked! I got a Yagi-style antenna and 20 dB low-noise amplifier tuned for 1.6-4.0 GHz, and I'm planning on giving it a shot at picking up GOES satellites in Geostationary orbit.
So, we'll see if I can get a beautiful full Earth disk picture from my antenna later today!

I'm pretty stoked! I got a Yagi-style antenna and 20 dB low-noise amplifier tuned for 1.6-4.0 GHz, and I'm planning on giving it a shot at picking up GOES satellites in Geostationary orbit.

This was from NOAA-15 at 7:15PM last night.
Absolutely fantastic imagery now, I even captured the remnants of the bomb cyclone in the top left!
The weird discrepancy was me adjusting gain options to dial in the signal.

The image on the left was taken last night by NOAA 15 at 15 degrees max elevation here in Arizona using a dipole antenna and RTL-SDR. The color map was added after. But the clouds came out clear compared to the cloud map I found!

I'm in college for Aerospace Engineering with a focus in Astronautics and I made a cool model of the Vostok that took Yuri Gagarin to space.
It's pretty basic, but I'm gonna be testing it on a shaker table this week as well as performing some FEA on it to compare against, so it'll be fun!
