I feel that once PCA finally gets his 30th homer, then the 30-30 monkey will be off his back. He could go on a hot streak right there because he wouldn't be pressing for homers, and just play ball.

Is there any place where I can get an Owen Caissie t-shirt for my toddler son? Owen is my son's favorite player from the Iowa Cubs. I can only find PCA or Swanson shirts in toddler/youth size shirts.

And it's kind of easy to implement NFL-style playoffs for this set up too, for either 12 or 14 teams.
12 teams - Top 2 division winners bye into LDS. Next 2 division winners host WC round vs 2 WC teams.
14 teams - Best record bye into LDS. Other 3 division winners host WC round vs 3 WC teams.
12 teams - Top 2 division winners bye into LDS. Next 2 division winners host WC round vs 2 WC teams.

MLB expansion is on the horizon, and so is geographic realignment. Here's my stab at projecting realignment. You must admit, the map makes more sense like this.

The post-ASG home run swing off was incredibly fun. So much better than the timed home run derby from Monday. MLB should take notes and change up the format to be similar to the swing off format.

How do they create the MiLB schedules? Like I know for Triple A it's 144 games, but how do they determine the format? X games vs divisional rivals, Y games vs intradivision, Z games vs random teams? Etc. It just seems so random that I can't figure out a system.

The Justin Turner signing fits the mold of the Eric Hosmer or Garrett Cooper or Trey Mancini signings. A veteran bench bat to round off the roster and probably would be released midseason after the roster shakes itself out.

I don't know why but seeing Tommy Pham signing with his nth team reminds me of Marlon Byrd after his career with the Cubs.

Cody Bellinger and Isaac Paredes are both gonna put up crazy numbers this year but I’m gonna need to consistently remind myself that they are playing in ballparks built specifically for them
