Hi! I'm a mission-driven freelance copyeditor and proofreader.
I work with organizations, indie authors, and publishers. I specialize in fiction and narrative nonfiction, as well as translated works. I offer free editing samples! ✒️
Red Pencil 2025 was amazing! Thank you to all the speakers and volunteers. I started gathering the committee and planning over a year ago, and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing all our work culminate in such a joyful, thought-provoking, convivial day! #edsguild2025 @edsguild.bsky.social

Update: The book is already ready for me to check out again and I'm pumped.
My Libby audiobook is due in 9 hours and I have 7 hours of listening left. Then there's a 13 week wait to get it back. 🥲

Today I'm heading on vacation, and I plan on not working for the next seven days! This will be my longest "out of office" since I started freelancing two years ago. Taking time off as a freelancer is really difficult, but really important. Wish me luck!

It's always fun when the word you look up in the dictionary comes with a picture. Today's was "wallaby." By the way, the plural can be either wallaby or wallabies. Any Aussies beg to differ? #amediting #edibuddies #copyeditor #proofreader
