'On The Origin Of Species', a book that changed the world forever, was published #onthisday, 1859. Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, contained within, didn’t just revolutionise science, it had a profound impact on how we view ourselves and our place in the natural world. What a wonderful man.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Every time I visit Italy ( I am in Sicily) I feel the loss. Europe was our natural home — law, culture, trade, defence, shared purpose. We walked away on the promises of Johnson and Farage. They sold pride and delivered poverty. #faragetaxes

This is shocking racism from Jenrick and Badenoch should sack him immediately.

Jenrick could have visited Handsworth to listen to residents – he chose to pass through and make a judgement based on the colour of their skin. Instead of getting to know our nation of neighbours, he chose racism.

The Tories, Reform and Labour want to divide us.

The Greens say enough is enough.

“Farage “broke Britain" with Brexit and is now, outrageously, capitalising on the vast damage he caused”

Article argues there’s no need to mention Reform’s racism as the Brexit shitshow is failure enough.
But that had its roots in racism too. So let’s do both.

If ever there was a time not to normalize Trump’s authoritarian fever dreams, this is it.

This should be impeachable. ‘War ravaged’ Portland? He’s insane - & insanely power hungry. The script is set - call an imaginary group a terror group and then send in the troops.

Why would a French politician who lives in Brussels & is only entitled to live in the UK six months a year buy a house in Clacton of all places?
Out of her own money too (allegedly).
Maybe a journalist or someone could ask her?

Just one example.
But a big one.
Farage talks shite. On everything. All the time. People might cheer on his racist fever dream but - you turn that into govt - and it all falls apart. Brexit, the very shitty sequel. Please let’s not be that stupid again.
Farage promise to "stop the boats within two weeks of winning gov't" unravelling.

Apparently, it means "after passing laws", "as quickly as possible", he "believes", the boats will still cross, but all will be deported "if necessary" and "sensible", "unless we have a duty of care".

Bravo, Beth! 👏🏽

"Reform has touted its plan as a “legal reset”. But it is better understood as a total rejection of the UK’s postwar international commitments to protect the human rights of everyone within its jurisdiction."
Treaties like the ECHR protect everyone in the UK, not just migrants
These commitments have cemented the UK at the heart of the rules-based international order.

'Hypocrite' Nigel Farage didn't pay £44k stamp duty then blasted Angela Rayner
Last year Nigel Farage announced he had bought a house in Clacton, Essex, but in fact it was his partner Laure Ferrari, 46, who shelled out almost £900,000 for the property
