In case you didn’t realize SNAP is corporate welfare.
The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

If your admin says "but we need to prepare students for AI-driven careers," you can calmly say no. Reiterate that AI-integration is the result of wild capitalist greed, the technologies themselves aren't "generative" or useful in most careers, and students should focus on process-based learning.

Oh, so now they're trying the whole renaming thing on *checks notes* human rights.

Solid plan. Effective. Cause no one calls them Twitter or the Gulf of Mexico anymore, right? /s
"Countries with state subsidies for abortion, transgender-friendly policies for children, hate speech laws and affirmative action policies will now be considered to be violating human rights under rules imposed at the [US] State Department..."

This. THIS is how we should respond to Trump.
Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

@kaine.senate.gov I'm a Virginia voter. I know the shutdown is particularly awful here. But cutting off millions of people from their health care is going to kill vulnerable Americans. A lot of us. I've called your office, I've used your form, but I haven't gotten through. DON'T DO IT

The unspoken thing that always gets me is they never, ever acknowledge the real issue-- most people just don't like GOP policies. The solution is never "maybe we should take more popular positions," it's always making sure more people don't get to vote.
Trump: "They're gonna make DC a state and they're gonna make Puerto Rico a state. So now they pick up two states, four senators. They're gonna pick up electoral votes. It's gonna be a very, very bad situation. Now, if we do what I'm saying, they'll most likely never obtain power."

Families shouldn’t have to wonder how they’ll feed their kids because this administration would rather play politics than fully fund SNAP. Courts made clear the tools are there. They’re just choosing not to use them.

Hunger is not a bargaining chip. They should fully fund SNAP.

Open enrollment for ACA healthcare plans has started, and enrollees are seeing what their premium costs will be next year.

Without subsidies, one couple will see their monthly costs increase from $495 to $2,168 — a 300% increase.

This is what Democrats are fighting to prevent.
