If a dog escapes in Bath, 40+ people will not only know the dog, but have strong opinions on whether he’s the goodest boy or a menace and also everything the dog’s owner has done wrong since kindergarten.

Bath City Hall lit up the Paul Revere Bell last night. I love our little city.

While Susan Collin’s has done much for BIW, the Yahd workers are going to suffer much more under the Trump policies she’s endorsed. This was her carrot on a stick.

I’m routinely appalled by finding cat sick on my carpets. I’m never shocked.

As goes Maine, so does the nation. This Is a grant that provided $15.64 in value for every $1 This will hurt every coastal community in Maine.

May the current administrationstration be forever surrounded by the stench of old traps.

My mega MAGA Mom is mistaken for Janet Mills on a monthly basis. Proud of Janet Mills for standing up to a tyrant and excited for my Mom to find out how horrible Maine MAGA people can be when it’s targeted at her.

When River Bottom Video closed in Bath, I wept. When the one Redbox in town went still, frozen in a gentler time, I laughed and borrowed a Blu-Ray from
the library.

Maine has had pizza for ages. Which makes the lingering presence of Pat’s Pizza, literally just cardboard with expired Chef Boyardee Beefaroni sauce, so baffling.
In 1938, pizza was still such a new thing in Maine that a restaurant in Lewiston took out an ad in the Evening Journal asking "HAVE YOU TRIED PIZZA?"
The Dec. 23, 1938 Steckino Liberty Cafe's ad was the first time the newspaper mentioned pizza.

Maine Needs started with a Facebook group in 2019. In 2020, founder Angela Stone opened the donation center on Forest Avenue. But the nonprofit has expanded into every possible corner there and long since reached its capacity.
Now it's moving next year to a new location four times the size.
After a flood of requests, Maine Needs will move into a bigger space
The nonprofit needs more room in order to make a dent in a continuous backlog of 250-plus requests for donations.
