I love that the minute Microsoft begins pulling out the console market because it's "antiquated" Valve is like hey guys btw here's a whole new console ecosystem for you okay thanks bye (won't hear from them again for 2-3 years)

The Thunder were the best team all season. One of the best defensive teams to ever step foot on a basketball court led by one of the most efficient MVP's ever. I cannot believe Indiana made it to a game 7. Genuinely one of the most impressive non-title-winning accomplishments of my lifetime.

I spent so many years covering propaganda anticipating this exact moment and so many of my peers bought the paid-for contrarian line that even covering disinformation was somehow, itself, censorship.

Now we're at the event horizon. Celebration is protest is riot is justification for a police state.
This took a while to get done, but I've chronicled my day among the protesters in Los Angeles, and the idea that this is anything but a celebration of cultural heritage and a firm, nonviolent demand to protect family, friends and neighbors is totally ridiculous.

Cries of Defiance and Songs of Joy in Los Angeles
The protesters are being called unspeakably violent by the Trump administration. I mostly saw clergy sit-ins and Tejano bands.

The disparity btwn what’s actually happening in Los Angeles and the way it’s being mischaracterized is one of the biggest stress tests of modern media in recent memory. Botted socials, AI, old clips, declining literacy—it’s like seeing a broken emergency response system hit by a storm.

Government by and for people who drink bleach.
SCOOP

For years an FDA warning about the dangers of chlorine dioxide helped prevent it going mainstream.

Bleachers spent years calling for it to be removed

In May, it disappeared

Now, the bleachers think RFK will make all their dreams come true

In 10 years there will be two major dedicated video game hardware companies that'll make up 60% of the gaming market and the other 40% will be 3rd party hardware with software owned and operated by Valve. Microsoft will be a glorified publisher (at best).

OKC exemplifies everything that people who don't actually watch the NBA, get wrong about the NBA.

Nobody plays defense. Really? Go watch the Thunder.

It's all about threes. Really? Go watch the Thunder.

Everyone plays exactly the same way. Really? Go watch the Thunder.

FDA can only regulate the labeled indications, but cannot regulate doctors and/or pharmacists medical decisions (hence “off-label” uses); OTOH insurers are usually reluctant to cover off-label uses

Bad-faith moves from FDA like this set up a collision between the law & sound medical judgment

Lmao. First off-- it's Nintendo. Yeah, they will.

And, more importantly:
do you want exploitative "free" garbage or do you want quality games?

Do you want studios to keep closing down, or for people to keep their jobs creating the art you love?

$90.
