Hi to everyone who joined, thanks for the follow! 🤗 As a quick intro, I'm Tibs, a creator from France who's been playing this game for 24 years! I create no CC Sims and lots, and I'm also a modder 😊 I'm currently working on a big savefile with more than 200 Sims with a lot of lore ✨#TheSims4
Seeing Early Access videos and tunings that were updated in the latest patch, I think was right 😅 But I already see a nice mod opportunity to make things work better, as it's possible to add buffs to Club/SB/CV activities (only working for Custom Venues). I'll start working on that to test later.
Welcome to my TED talk ! Here I'll try to explain why I'm concerned about how Custom Venues and Getaways will work in terms of autonomy. From what I'm understanding, It will use the same system as Clubs and Small Businesses to pick activities, that don't work as well as for regular venues.

Just started working on my mods updates 🤓 It seems things are not broken, but many updates are required for when the pack is out (mostly filters and the other usual adjustements, but some surprising stuff, I never thought a pack would impact the campfire 😅).

It looks like building r-rentals on penthouses currently cause white screens and endless loading screens.

It looks like building r-rentals on penthouses currently cause white screens and endless loading screens.

Hi ! Just a note about my mods updates : I won't be able to look at my mods until next weekend, and will have to wait until the weekend after to finish and test the updates for the new pack. Sorry for the delay, I'll try to post a list of what is broken next week !

I guess the new rule of fixing issues with the most upvotes will be for the next patch 😅 At least, with what is listed here (mostly fixes related to tagging and swatches), I don't think a lot of mods will break... except if they touch up a lot of stuff behind the scenes.

Nice to see they will take extra effort to address issues, I hope it will have a real impact. My only concern is using the metric of votes only to prioritize issues, as some of them might be easy to fix and not seen by most players, and newer issues with less votes might be forgotten or delayed 🥲

Nice to see they will take extra effort to address issues, I hope it will have a real impact. My only concern is using the metric of votes only to prioritize issues, as some of them might be easy to fix and not seen by most players, and newer issues with less votes might be forgotten or delayed 🥲
I've tried to play a little bit, as I wanted to see how the naturopath career worked (as it made sense for two of my Sims to switch to that !). It was fun, but I think I'll try and work on replacing the ailment overlays that are little too whimsical for my style of gameplay 🤗

There is a new "Awaiting Additional Reports" status on the bug report forum. What I guess here, is that if an issue is not voted by enough people, it won't be looked into. That really makes me angry, as even some issues with full reporting are not solved for months, it's another level…

I think everybody observed a lot of details already but maybe not this one : this kettle that should be the kind of object placed on a counter is placed on this table. Maybe it can be used for other appliances ? (unlike the ones from the Kitchen Clutter and Restoration Workshop Kits) #TheSims4

Loved the trailer for the new pack, so many activities (and animations) and new systems that don't seem to bloat the regular gameplay ! I'm very curious about the Custom Venues and the possibilities with getaways 🫣 I really hope the patch before will come with a lot of fixes #TheSims4

Nice to see them addressing the save issues, but that's not the first time and it's still not fixed (I get that it takes time from the complexity). But in the meantime, bugs continue to pile up, new content to be released, and most of them are not fixed. Even easy ones where the root cause is clear.

Nice to see them addressing the save issues, but that's not the first time and it's still not fixed (I get that it takes time from the complexity). But in the meantime, bugs continue to pile up, new content to be released, and most of them are not fixed. Even easy ones where the root cause is clear.
