The well-known phrase "that being said" is incorrect. Since it refers to something that was completed in the past, it should be "that having been said." I'm sure this bit of trivia will spur you on your publishing journey. #kidlit

Let's talk banana splits. Bananas are fine on their own, but they don't enhance the taste of ice cream or the other sweet ingredients of a sundae. Better to replace the banana with more ice cream. Let's see him try to put a tariff on Ben & Jerry's.

I'm looking for a software tool that will convert my draft MG novel to speech (TTS). This will allow me to make notes while listening. The tools I've tried so far are so-so. The "speakers" don't change their tone when reading dialog for different characters, the way an audio book reader would.
