Re: tomorrow's planned protest. Please be vigilant and careful. If there isn't a trustworthy organization sponsoring the protest, beware of a setup.
The boogaloo boys organized a “protest” in NC in 2020 that claimed to be a left leaning protest but was an entire front to create violence and police response.

“Oscar Micheaux: The Superhero of Black Filmmaking” is a fascinating docu. on the filmmaker, whose “Within Our Gates” was a response to the distorted image of Black Americans in “The Birth of a Nation.” His “Body and Soul” was chosen by the Lib. of Congress for inclusion to the Nat’l Film Registry.
