I am a sucker for all things #Dracula. But this project leaves me scratching my head. It's as if Besson decided to remake Coppola's film, set it in France and remove all the elements that made the original so remarkable. Yet... I am still curious, though.

Without a second's hesitation, it's “Lemon Tree” by the German one-hit wonder band Fool's Garden. Closely followed by an unpopular choice: “Like The Way I Do” by Melissa Etheridge. The first choice is just awful, the second is marred by personal memories.

Glad to see that the #SkeleronCrew has sticked the landing. But I for one am more than ready to see the return of #StarWars to the big screen (after #Andor, of course).
#BetterMan will definitely be in my top ten films of '25. It’s so entertaining and exquisitely made that it’ll be hard to beat. But even as I watched it, I kept thinking "who is this made for?" and "this will never break even." Turns out someone else should’ve asked those questions before making it.

Still thinking about Eggers' #Nosferatu. The main story is a well-known Symphony of Horror. you know the sequences (castle, ship, arrival, finale) and much is unsurprising (apart from the count's appearance). Where Eggers shines as a conductor are the soloists, which have never been better. (1/2)

With a reported budget of $250 million, it is very likely that we will never have another animated series like #ARCANE in our lifetime. And that's a shame. Because you could see the level of detail, love and dedication in every single frame and every single character. It was truly a sight to behold.
