I can’t begin to express how much the Kris piano segment moves me. Maybe it’s because there’s nothing worse than losing things you love to things outside your control, or maybe it’s because music sometimes says what words can’t. Either way, it breaks me.

(less emotional information but good dithering = ‘the file still sounds nice it just takes up less disc space’. Compressed but not lossy)

if your mix isn't converting well to mono and it's not a phase issue, try checking the low-end.

sounds unrelated, but it turns out that if the kick/bass combo is really tight, you'll probably retain all the power of the mix when you're in mono.

A more sincere mixing tip: for the love of christ, never never never send your echo bus through a reverb bus. The phase effects can be an absolute nightmare.
