The world is a huge place with (I assume) millions of things going on every day that could be considered news worthy. Almost none of it is available through broadcast journalism, but we sure have the murder market covered.
I didn’t know until fairly recently that all the network newsmagazine shows are now just weekly stories of women being killed by their husbands.

Once the talking heads took over & news coverage was whittled down to politics, celebrities, & mass shootings I was out. @cnn.com

We have arrived at the season when many customers at Aldis are still "summer naked", many are donning quilted jackets & cold weather hoodies, & some are wearing very unique combinations of both. #fall #fashion ? Short shorts, flip flops, & a winter weight hooded coat 🧑🍳😘. #prepared for everything

Very trivial, but the new "Maverick" brand transition at kum & go"convenience stores is not great. Lots of sizeflation & requiring of punch cards. Self checkout at the main register? No, thank you. I don't want to wait while Bill tries to deduce how to ring up his coffee & hot dog. #iowa

I'm so over hearing how much we are "costing society" by taking a holiday off, staying home w/an illness, or retiring before becoming a worn out husk.I refuse to live life based on what benefits the economy.I just don't care. We get 1 chance at this,& my goal is not to increase your stock portfolio

Rain, rain, rain. It's been a terribly dry month. Even when there has been a bit of precipitation in the area it has mostly skipped us over. Finally we have rain!

Random thought: In both fictional & nonfictional crime stories detectives are often tipped off by the smell of bleach. Why aren't more criminals using plugin deodorizers / oil diffusers & wiping back over surfaces with smelly cleaners like Mrs Meyers?

Have been dwelling on this a bit. How almost everyone & everything keeps deteriorating. It's slow enough that you don't always notice it in the day to day minutia but the accumulated pressure has building so once you start looking it's everywhere.

Several streaming services I have subscriptions for have added commercials. Now they are all raising their prices. A good reminder that I really need to cancel most of them. I just don't have the time to watch more than a few hours most weeks anyway.

Spent part of the afternoon helping to relocate some schnauzers to a safe place since their owners are both incapacitated by health issues & have no family support. We need to take care of each other. We need healthcare for all & we need nonjudgmental community support.

Scary angry snake dream! Snake jumped across large chasm fangs beared & wrapped around me. Guest starJean Smart didn't seam concerned or want to help me when snake attacked. Why does she hate me? Very disturbing. Also there were lots of salamanders? Guess I'm done sleeping for the night.
