I would argue that a big part of the appeal of Hollow Knight and Silksong is all the Little Guys. These games have unparalleled Little Guy energy and you can feel the love that went into them in every frame.

I love this so much and I am absolutely tearing up about it. The gentleness and plainness of this, the way he just lets her be her (and she seems so damn lovely, who wouldn’t?), the generosity.
