These are neo-Nazi domestic terrorists. They are enemy combatants in an occupying force. I don't know how I can say it any clearer. If we continue to let the new Wehrmacht go unchallenged we are all fucked.

The President of the United States unilaterally levied a tax on all of us and is redistributing our taxes to a core segment of his supporters.

Makes me sick to my stomach that we are doing this
If you've ever been to a naturalization ceremony, you know they're filled with people whose palpable love of this country is twenty times stronger than the pinched "patriotism" of any native-born MAGA chud.

Just unspeakable assholery.

the primary thing that TPUSA provides to young conservatives is a blueprint for weaponizing the abject cowardice of university administrators against individual teachers and instructors, and university admins should take a long look in the mirror and think about what that says about them

The right wing marched through media with bad faith complaints, cowing one institution after another into frightened overcorrection -- a perpetual defensive crouch from which they are pathetically easy to bully & manipulate.

Now it's running the same play on universities, with similar results.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

absolutely shameful that the university has embraced the administration’s demand that it discriminate against its students. this is the board of visitors telling UVA students that if they aren’t white and cisgendered then they don’t belong.
The University of Virginia has capitulated to Trump on transgender and race (affirmative action) issues.

The details are currently sparse, but reporting suggests they've agreed to define trans people out of existence and ban trans students from facilities.

A few people in colonial costumes complaining about immigrants was novel to NYT editors. Their friends don't do that. A running narrative would be exciting, especially after Obama won big.

Millions rallying against Trump's authoritarian abuses? Bor-ring. NYT editors have heard that argument before.
Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.

Check out how tiny the crowds were:

Philly: 200
DC: "several hundred"
Boston: 500
Austin: 1,000
Houston: 2,000

All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.

So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!
