I am growing a second, taller fence behind my fence. The black plastic is there because I'm killing back some Bermuda grass. For those not familiar, you have to lay down a weed barrier for at least two years

Sidewalk score! These are fancy, self watering seed starters. The large one retails for $150. Literally found them in a pile of free stuff on the sidewalk.

I made the bowl in a ceramics class for veterans. Of course, that class has lost its funding. Here are some soup dumplings, carrots and baby bok choy from the G.O. Cilantro from my garden. When I cut open the wontons, the beef pho broth mixes with the water and veggies. Easy peezy

Scored a bunch of free succulents today. They were in an alley, in a pile next to a compost bin, mixed in with other plants that had recently been trimmed.

For the past few months, every week or so, I drive 2 1/2 hours north to my best friend's house, and we do an electronic noise live stream on twitch. And on the way back, I have been shoveling wood chips that I found on the side of the road into the back of my Honda Fit.

I feel like I'm fading away, like I'm ceasing to exist, becoming imperceptible to others. I look out of my eyes, but I don't feel like I belong here. Everything feels futile. Cares if I plant a flower? Who cares if I sing a note? Who cares if I've had a lifetime of experiences? I'm unimportant
