Just finished going through chapter six where the MC, Eileen, learns to fly the ship. It reads like crap. The pacing is wrong, not enough internal dialogue. Missing the motivation of why she has so much riding on this and the conflict of why the historian wants this.
Well, time for a rewrite 😐

Just finished my edit run on the Historian Assistant. Now at 97K words. I’m going to go through it with ProWritinfAid and see what it finds.

But I may give myself a few days break before diving in again.
