When your signature achievement becomes so toxic you abandon your own name for it, you've lost control of the political conversation.

I am living inside a train wreck. America, democracy, the reality I grew up in, the ground I was raised on, is crashing around me.

My President, The Mob Boss
The US just told 27 democratic allies: pay us $1.35 trillion or face economic destruction. We've become the mob boss of international relations - exporting the same predatory model we use to extract wealth from our own people.

Disasters cost the US $180B annually. Federal response costs $25B. That's a 6:1 protective ratio keeping state economies afloat. Every $1 in preparedness saves $6-13 in damage.

Damn‼️ Federal agents blew a door off for this?

Federal agents blasted their way into an LA home where Jenny Ramirez lives with her boyfriend and two kids.

She heard the blast while checking on her 6-year-old, with her 1-year-old in her arms.

Ramirez says everyone in the home is a U.S. citizen.

Struggling families need support

Here's a letter to the editor I wrote about the Republican budget bill. I kept the local context specific to my county to show how others can personalize these letters for their own towns.

I don’t understand why news sources don’t report the facts. Trump announced that there was a ceasefire—he just made that up. There was no ceasefire, and no one else announced one. But the media reports his statement as if there were, in fact, a ceasefire agreement.

🧵 New analysis: Why don't we have basic data on protest participation? Turns out it's political, not technical. We could use drones + AI to count crowds tomorrow, but institutions prefer "disputable" numbers. Plus: documented evidence of right-wing infiltration tactics. dittany.com/protest-part...
