Can uncertainty be visualised in educational data dashboards, if so, how and with what (pedagogical, social) implications? With @julianejarke.bsky.social, we found no uncertainty #dataviz in #edtech (no surprise), but examples in other fields (hence the title!)

The problem if we assume that freedom means individual sovereignty is that we either deny freedom (when we realise humans are not sovereign) or, as is happening now, we think “that the freedom of one [hu]man or a group can only be purchased at the price of the freedom of others.” Hannah Arendt

Happy to celebrate #mayday2025 with @mskellymhayes.bsky.social! We start talking about antifascism, which now has to include all types of mutual aid and direct action. What does it mean to meet fascists in the streets when they control every lever of federal government?
This week on Movement Memos, my friend @shaneburley.bsky.social and I discuss fascism, including techno-fascism, mutual aid, and the kind of organizing and solidarity we need to survive these times. Audio + transcript:
How to Fight Fascism in a Captured State
