In 2023, the current CIA Director John Ratcliffe was asked about David Grusch’s allegations. He didn't deny them and said “I’ve gone to the edge of talking about information that’s classified. I can’t go over that line. I just think they (government) could have put more information out…”

Between 2007 and 2009, a night-shift security guard named Yalçın Yalman in Kumburgaz, a coastal town near Istanbul, recorded multiple videos of what he claimed were structured craft hovering over the Sea of Marmara.
