This is brilliant reporting and, thankfully, not behind a paywall. I still care about Alberta with family and many friends there.

Please read this. Real journalism is almost dead in Alberta and the corruption is out of control.

Prime Minister Mark Carney disagrees with the concept of a premier of one province unilaterally taking over a different province but his hands are tied by his unwillingness to do anything about it.

Max nails it. This is performance politics. Mark Carney does a Jedi hand wave and Princess Dani sees the pipeline and CCS system that will never be built.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

I'm getting annoyed by how difficult it has become to cancel a subscription. It's a service paid for in advance. Once upon a time you could cancel a subscription and be refunded for the service you no longer wish to receive. That's history now.

Fuck you Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post.

Donald Trump could have just kept his mouth shut about Jamal Khashoggi.

But to smear a dead journalist, while sitting with the person accused of orchestrating his murder is just vile.

Every time this administration hits rock bottom, a trap door seems to open.

Cretin behavior.

This is even better than a gift article from the New York Times or The Atlantic
This past week there was a photo from Trump's gala of a barely clad woman frolicking in a giant champagne glass.
She looked like a teen.
It made me think of Jane Doe-another young woman who attempted to shine a light on the darkness in Trumpland.
My latest.

This is just straight up journalism. Hard to argue with the facts.

That said, Carney bending the knee to Trump and apologizing for a Ford ad quoting Reagan is a ... disappointment.

I'm being too polite.
