Earlier this year, I had a proper re-read of the Holmes canon, which made me realise how much I missed making little comics. I've been posting a weekly page (@ theobservanceoftrifles.tumblr.com) for a few months now, and it's just been lovely to engage with the source material again!

Used one of the beautiful wax models held at La Specola in Florence and pictured in the Encyclopaedia Anatomica as reference for this linocut of the large and small intestines and their venous drainage. Truly one of the best prints I've ever made. I am a massive fan of the practically nonexistent "World of Wooster", and for no logical reason continue to hold out hope that the full series will be found, restored, and offered to the public in disc format. #linocut #printmaking #jeevesandwooster
