Those EO’s trump rescinded seem to be mostly related to DEI and climate/environ. Let’s be clear: tribal issues are not DEI issues, they are sovereignty issues. This represents trump 2.0’s first strike against tribal sovereignty.

I for one am glad for vaccines, as someone who almost died from adult chicken pox at 44 years old. If there had been a vaccine for that back then I would’ve taken it. The shingles vaccine? Hell yes. I’m vulnerable to shingles because of my adult chicken pox. Let me say it again: hell yes.

Here’s my formal introduction. I’m an American Indian educator, writer, activist. I teach in American Indian studies in California and specialize in environmental justice discourse, theory, and policy. I wrote a fairly popular book on the topic. I also do critical sports studies, esp surfing.

I was thinking about the early days of facebook. when i first joined there it was 2009. I was just getting ready to travel to DC for the Obama inauguration. It was still so new, fresh, fun, and hopeful. Then trump happened and it all went to shit. Maybe it already did but I don't remember.
