Took my bike down the LBS. Somewhat as I feared, it’s going to be a big job. Only bigger. Breathtakingly so… 😳
Gonna need to change the levers/brake callipers but they don’t do mine anymore. So gonna change to Shimano. But not much cheaper that a new group set, so…

Looking like I may make 10000 for the year, which wd mean in the last 4 y I will have cycled the circumference of the Earth. Now I know @wandrer.earth is biased by ppl interested but if any way reflective I’m in the top 0.03% cyclists. Been looking at the top: ~5k/mth. What does that even involve! 😳

I was making a decent pace thanks to @pcorfe.bsky.social advice on 80psi. Until ~40k & the local flint. 1 km later lost another 20 min helping a bloke who cdnt get his tire off. God grant me the courage to go on this sort of thing with no repair kit & only a spare tube + a pump the size of my finger
