Definitely a Birch Catkin Bug (Kleidocerys resedae) and probably silver birch aphid (Euceraphis betulae) n the first picture. Aphids and eggs in the next pics - are they the same aphid. All in SIlver Birch tree.

Never knew they existed, until I saw this one: Dark-edged Bee Fly (Bombylius major). Harmless. Mimics a bee, so as to lay its eggs in the mining bees nest. (Ectoprasitoid). Single wing pair, long legs, straight proboscis. Excellent. Seen in Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve, Milton Keynes.

For Easter, the Pasqueflower, from the Aston Upthorpe downs, the sole remaining native site for the Pasqueflower in Oxfordshire. Thanks to the @plantlifeuk.bsky.social volunteers for showing me where they are, and removing the rabbit protection for the photos.

Probably Silver birch aphid (Euceraphis betulae)
Family huddle of Two adults, wingless brown egg-laying female (oviparae) and winged male plus nymph (fourth instar immature fundatrix?)
