Hi, I left X for political reasons. The values that the platform's owner represents are everything I deeply hate and actively challenge in my private and professional life. I am new to Bsky, so let me introduce myself. #feminism #documentary #care-work #masculinities #fatherhood
This guy clearly doesn't know how the film industry works. Every word of this post is pure nonsense.

This phenomenon is called "internalized misogyny." It is the same thing that drove most German women to fascism in the 1930s. It provides justification and legitimacy for the patriarchal system in which we all live. #patriarchy #backlash www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
Now comes the ‘womanosphere’: the anti-feminist media telling women to be thin, fertile and Republican
A crop of conservative personalities such as Brett Cooper and Candace Owens, and outlets like Evie, are convincing young women of a gender-essentialist worldview

This book is simply groundbreaking. The veteran anthropologist Sarah Bluffer Hrdy summarizes 40 years of research on why human males are naturally (and equally) equipped to take care of their offspring, unlike our ape cousins, and what happens to their brains and hormones in the process. #fatherhood

Published in the Guardian today: a must-read!
"Trumpism and rightwing populism isn’t a revolt against the ‘elites’; it’s a reaction to men being de-centred and a backlash against feminism." #patriarchy #misogyny #manosphere #rightwing #trumpism

The result of the US election unleashed a ferocious feminist backlash, he says, and makes his 40-year struggle to end violence against women more urgent than ever

A man who works 80 hours a week is an absent father. Period. A father is someone who spends tons of quality time with his children. This guy has neither knowledge nor authority to preach anything about #fatherhood. Being a sperm donor is not the same as being a father.

The rise of the global far-right is partially a backlash of #patriarchy against the seismic shifts of the #metoo years. Project 25: "Without women, there are no children, and society cannot continue." They couldn't be clearer in their intentions to control women, who hold the key to reproduction.

Two spreadsheets from my #photobook "Undo motherhood" (Schilt Publishing 2022), about women all over the world who regret #motherhood because of unshared #carework and self-loss as a result. These are the stories from Mexico and Israel (chapters "Resignation" and "Guilt" respectively). More here: 👇

When a powerful man slurs publicly another powerful man by calling him a woman. And this is an excerpt (and explanation) from a brilliant book by philosopher Tom Digby "Love and War: How Militarism Shapes Sexuality and Romance“. #masculinity #misogyny #militarism #patriarchy #power
