After three years of development, the fifth episode of The AMC Squad is out!

A fully standalone, free Duke Nukem 3D fangame, set after the death of Duke. It is utterly enormous - like 'large JRPG' scale - with like 15+ playable characters, RPG and management mechanics.

honestly i wholeheartedly agree, and this is really why i hate the term „boomer shooter”

my fav game of all time is Quake III, not because it’s „retro” but because it’s genuinely the most fun MP shooter i’ve ever played.

meanwhile the boomer shooter crowd mostly care about them being just old

Hell, I personally LOVE collecting this info in my PDA! I love meeting all mutants, visiting all locations, discovering all anomalies and finding all artifacts, and have it all catalogued in my PDA.

I hope @stalker2.bsky.social will add all this in a patch. Or if not, maybe mods will do.

Stalker 2 is great despite tech issues, but I think the biggest oddity that compared to the 15 year old original, it actually removed things that helps newbies get into the game.

So far no Stalker Network, no Enemy/Faction/Anomaly descriptions, it's a bit -too- hands off, even compared to GAMMA.
