The finale of the great TV comedy show Blackadder goes Forth.
Back then I didn't expect one of the funniest programmes ever to end with a scene that makes me cry every time I see it.
Every single time.

"Keir Starmer's Labour tacking to the right to try and catch up with Reform"

Apart from meaning that the vulnerable in our society are abandoned, this just shows that they are prepared to jettison their values for popularity.

Justice for people and planet - values matter.

This is silly. None of my friends are voting Reform and that is why they are my friends; whereas I’m sure I have acquaintances who might be voting for them, but I don’t discuss politics with acquaintances.
It's got to the stage where if 'you don't know anyone whose voting for Reform' you need to broaden your social circle.

Or, perhaps, reflect on what it is about your behaviour that means your friends don't feel able to be open with you about politics.

Not football or runner related, but ‘celebrities’ taking the greener option should always be celebrated, if they can do it, others can also.
"Train is the new private jet." Dua Lipa continues to promote taking the train over flying, boarding a Eurostar to London at Gare du Nord. This is climate-conscious messaging done right. Posted by lejeuneengage on IG.
