Is it better to be on @bsky.app and to have a like-minded echo chamber of the anti-Trump resistance or is it more effective to reach a larger audience on Twitter to engage in active political discourse? Real question with real and genuine sincerity… I really don’t know actually.

Why not Threads? Nice integration with Instagram, lots of users, and not a toxic waste dump like Xwitter? I’ve yet to “feel” it on Bluesky.

I hate to say this, but I’m just not feeling it when it comes to sports conversation and dialogue on bluesky. Thus far, I’ve probably downloaded and deleted “X” 3-4 x’s just to see what the buzz is on a game, etc. Bluesky also lacks w/ current events or if there’s major outages on platforms.

These Cabinet appointments are not serious. Trump is trolling, knowing these people will get objections in the Senate to block them, after which he will nominate competently evil people who look reasonable in comparison.

If I went on a deliberate search to find the worst attorney general I could find, I'd probably stop at Mike Lee. It wouldn't even occur to me to go as low as Matt Gaetz.

@jimbennett.bsky.social Interested in your opinion. Do you think there is a critical mass enough for people to come on over to Blue Sky? I want it to work - but so many people I have come to enjoy following on X, just are not here. Why did you land on Blue Sky and not Threads?
