Glorious day at Allen Banks in Northumberland. Nuthatch and grey wagtail were highlights. Expected dipper but didn't see one. Beautiful place.

Up on Rothbury Common this morn, good view of a cuckoo. Along the Coquet picked up another 41 species. Whitethroat, nuthatch, common sandpiper the standouts.

Frosty in Warkworth. Tawny calling from the trees.

#nebirding superbly windy on Holy Island this morning. Hoped for a wheatear or short eared owl, but really only pipits and skylarks. Windy made the dogs a bit crazy like.
