Finished Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas earlier today and what I thought was going to be a whole book about Chaol being a whiney little butch was actually so much better. Yrene was giving life… literally #reading #booksbooksbooks #TOG

I can't get enough of myth retellings! 'Icarus by K. Ancrum' reimagines the ancient tale beautifully. Check it out: wix.to/RyrATL7 #BookTwitter #Icarus #KAncrum
Icarus by K. Ancrum
Those that know me will tell you that I am a complete sucker for a retelling of a Greek myth so I jumped at the chance to read Icarus by K. Ancrum. Icarus Gallagher is a thief. He steals priceless art...

Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight, The Assassin's Blade and Heir of Fire by Sarah J Mass
At first, I was very reluctant to start this series. I had heard all the hype and seen the odd Tik Tok of women swooning over shadow daddies and men with wings so I didn’t really feel it was the serie...

I’m absolutely falling in love with Icarus by K Ancrum. Only a few chapters in but the pure, soft passion so intense right now. I could spend all day in Icarus’ head. I’m enjoying every minute of the journey but don’t want to reach the destination just yet.

Just finished Under the Whispering Door by T J Klunes and wow, what a book. It’s the first one of his books I’ve read and it was certainly a great start. So much emotion and character development. It had me tearing up towards the end. Such an amazing story.

And with that, my last book of 2024 is finished. Such a heartwarming story about finding your own way in the world and how sometimes we need to compromise in order to move forward. How to train your dad by Gary Paulsen was the best way to finish 2024.

Amazon might deliver 'convenience', but it can’t replicate the magic of stepping into a quiet bookstore on a rainy day, where the scent of old pages mingles with fresh coffee and every shelf holds the promise of a new adventure waiting to be discovered.

The final installement of the Over Emotional trilogy comes to a close. What a book! With Steven and the gang seemingly backed into a corner, Zachary swanning around the country stirring everything up, there seems no hope for the future. @davidfenne.bsky.social thanks for the adventure.

Now that the business of Christmas is over I can finally settle down to read. Just finished The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. Started reading it with my english class and they loved it so had to finish it before going back to work in the new year. What an adventure to have.

Finished reading this yesterday. I couldn’t put it down. It was so full of powerful women and life that I craved more. Luckily there is more to this series ahead for me to get my teeth into. @junodawson.bsky.social certainly put me under a spell.
