One of our local conservancy groups did a wreath making from scratch class using local clipping, and I'm kinda obsessed. I don't think I did too shabby for my first time. I want to scavenge my property and make more.

Suddenly in the market for new N95 masks. I don't know why but my trusty ones I've been wearing for years have started making my face burn where they make contact. Wish I would have thought to pick up more in Japan to try but was unsure on face size.

Kinda got blindsided with cancer diagnosis, thought it was a magical malady. Will have to DNF for now, was not in the right headspace when literally driving to see one of my moms whose fighting cancer.

Ugh, the people sitting across from us at the airport are sick af, and not in the cool way. They are snotty and coughing, and just loaded up on Nyquil. Dude I get it, you don't want to miss going to Japan, but thanks for risking the rest of us.

I didn't realize how much weight I'd lost this year until I went to try on my winter jacket and it was laughably too large. Officially 40lbs!! Woo!

The anxiety in me makes me want to show up 2 hours early to the airport... the practical side of me is saying 2 hours for Grand Rapids, even with the gov shut down is laughable.

Got some good news today! Although the cancer is considered terminal, the main mass had shrank by over half after 1 round of chemo & 3 days of radiation!! She is not the only one breathing easier today! Now I can go on my trip without worry.
Nothing like finding out one of your moms has some really nasty cancer then having to go into work the next day and do all your employee reviews like nothing is wrong. I just want to curl up and have a good cry, instead I'm filling out performance evals. Fuck.
