Sure thing @aba.org! Not a lifer lifer, but an ABA region lifer - Sharp-tailed Sandpiper at Elsie Roemer Bird Sanctuary in Alameda, California. An Asian species, rare in CA. Found by Deborah Crooks two days ago, still here today! (ABA #691) 🪶

🖋️ “Reject HR1 'One Big Beautiful Bill Act' MAGA murder budget” hit 100 signers!

💬 Text SIGN POBEEP to 50409
Reject HR1 "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" MAGA murder budget
Text SIGN POBEEP to 50409 — I firmly urge you to denounce and vote against H.R. 1, the highly destructive "One Big Beautiful Bill Act." This MAGA murder budget would enact drastic cuts to vital programs that support vulnerable communities, all to finance massive tax cuts for the wealthy. Don't be like Sen Murkowski, and vote for something that you know is wrong; be strong and vote it down.   The provisions slashing Medicaid, including imposing harsh work requirements, would cruelly strip healthcare from tens of millions. Tripling ICE's budget to ramp up Trump's inhumane mass deportation agenda is an unconscionable attack on immigrant families. Gutting funding for SNAP would exacerbate hunger and food insecurity across the nation. Cutting access to gender-affirming care under Medicaid and CHIP constitutes blatant discrimination against transgender individuals. Defunding Planned Parenthood undermines comprehensive reproductive healthcare.   These draconian measures serve only to boost corporate profits and to funnel money upward at the expense of human dignity and wellbeing. Rather than squandering trillions to line the pockets of the rich, Congress should promote policies that uplift working families and invest in our shared future. I implore you to reject this shameful murder budget that so blatantly disregards the needs of your constituents.

There are real questions about whether Trump is prioritizing his business interests over those of the American people—and all you have to do is look at the data about his schedule to see why we’re alarmed.

Trump has created untold numbers of conflicts of interest by failing to divest from his business interests before taking office.

Thirty lonely but beautiful actions you can take right now which probably won't magically catalyze a mass movement against Trump but that are still wildly important

Thirty lonely but beautiful actions you can take right now which probably won't magically catalyze a mass movement against Trump but that are still wildly important
Why? Because others will see you do them, and it will make it easier for them to take their own (slightly less lonely but equally beautiful) action by your side
