Well, we got six nice days.

I'm trying my first batch of probiotic soda in a ginger lemon flavor. It's a simple process as long as you remember to add ingredients and stir it daily for a few days. I keep it next to my sink so I'm reminded when doing dishes.

I love making food and drinks and using the good dishes every day. Treating yourself special is a way to create a healthy pattern of how you will expect to be treated in general.

The hydrangeas are growing beautifully this year due to all the rain we've been having.

I love propagating plants from my garden and from fruit and veggies. For the most part, it's a simple waiting game, especially for avocados.

Well, I meant to have a relaxing evening taking in a movie all curled up on my couch....and instead I turned on 2073 and may never sleep again.

Do watch it (it's on Max), but prepare yourself. Maybe early in the day is better.

Doing a little windowsill gardening. The garlic took only a week or so to sprout and is growing fast. Avocados, on the other hand, require long-term dedication.

This has been my evening "cuppa" lately, and I'm so ready to get back to Chamomile.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

We need more servant leadership in our society to increase satisfaction and happiness and to help heal systemic mental health issues.

Toxic leadership and overworking is in direct opposition to fostering loving and healthy human relationships.

Growing beans for the first time and I have a much better appreciation for Jack and the beanstalk now.

I grabbed a few pinto beans from my pantry and threw them in dirt 4 days ago. Magic beans indeed.

It's a little messy, but it's the start of our family gardens. We're planting flowers, fruit and veggies, and hopes for an abundant season.

Looking to connect with other gardeners so I can keep learning!

I never imagined at this juncture that our government would be mistreating veterans so badly that they would take to the streets (in TN)!

Veterans, farmers, teachers, laborers, healthcare and service workers - should be treasured and respected.

We need more servant leadership, not less.
