Today I wanted to promote my Pokemon Webcomic "El's Alolan Adventures"! It's a slice of life continuation of Pokemon SM, focusing on themes of found family and Guzmas growth after disbanding Team Skull.

"El's Alolan Adventures" follows the protagonist and Alola's first Champion "El" and picks up right after the main storyline of Pokemon Sun and Moon. After Guzma, the former leader of a group of misfits known as "Team Skull", disbands his gang, El searches for him, wondering what happened to him after the traumatizing events he went through of being lost in Ultra Space for a couple of days. She finds him at his parent's house, where she learns more about his troubled past and how he initially ran away from home after being considered a failure. Guzma challenges El to one more battle at Hau'oli Beach, but loses once again to El's flying types. However, he no longer loses his temper and lashes out at himself for losing how he usually does in his self-destructive tendencies. Instead he just seems defeated. Tired. Frustrated. His old master Hala had watched the battle from a distance and offers Guzma to become his student once more, giving him a chance to redeem himself to the people of Alola for all the trouble his gang has caused throughout the region. Guzma seems reluctant to take Halas offer. Instead he aggressively turns to El and seems to word an ATTEMPT of an apology for all the trouble he had put her through on her journey. He hands El one of his most treasured items, a Dawn stone he kept as a lucky charm. THIS is where the story of "El's Alolan Adventures" picks up from. I HAD TO SUMMARIZE THIS ALL BECAUSE THE WEBCOMIC STARTS VERY ABRUPTLY AND JUST THROWS YOU IN WITH NO CONTEXT From Chapter 29 on Webtoons: "Aether's President | Part 2 | Midnight Chatter". Aside from slice of life snippets, the webcomic has a couple of character-driven arcs focusing on characters like Guzma, Gladion or El with an overarching storyline.
