No-one is advocating that, certainly not me. My point is narrower: the priority when building new homes is to get as many homes as possible. Loading costs onto the development results in fewer homes and fewer affordable homes. This is a straightforward public policy tradeoff.

Having spent a week or two more full time here, I can absolutely confirm that the real echo chamber is not Bluesky but X. Musk’s platform is roaring cyclotron of hate, gamed algorithms and inauthentic blue ticks. It’s not free speech but ‘paid for’ speech that stops genuine exploration and debate.
