Okay no I'm serious about this counter currency system. Peg it to M1, stop printing new money forever.
It works because it has a higher velocity than regular currency which drives up the price in an exchange market, but it has a natural tendency to disperse which lowers the velocity.

The big reveal is that this - what you’re seeing right now - is in fact *exactly* how businesses are run; chaotically and at the whims of sociopaths who think they know everything, actually know nothing, and run away with a golden parachute to leave others to clean up their mess.
People constantly claim that the appeal of Republicans is that they are ‘successful’ businesspeople who will “run the country like a business”, but in reality they’re so incompetent at even the most basic tasks that they can’t even prepare a legally-mandated budget request on time.

Absolutely right.
Anecdotal, but I'm definitely noticing an uptick in advocacy for violence here. About which I'll say only this: Promoting violence on social media is the work of trolls and fools, those eager to bait others into implicating themselves in the age of surveillance or fools rushing to the gulag.
