Now that they have delivered almost every anchor of color, one think MSNBC COULD DO is to regularly covering every Democrat in congress that did NOT vote WITH US.
Disgusted by your decisions!

Real question, admittedly not thoroughly thought through—why aren’t we leveraging AI to assist air traffic controllers? (Obviously other than the bureaucratic issues and security reasons).

👏👏👏
Normalizing spelling out what people actually mean when they cite DEI rather than letting them hide behind the safe cover of a euphemism that's been sapped of meaning

(1,2) A MESSAGE TO ALL OF THE TRUMP ENABLERS IN CONGRESS:

The 2026 election began today. After the deranged rant from the current occupant of the White House about the crash and attacking people with disabilities, we know that you will continue to do the wrong thing.

The administration is not targeting immigrants with violent records. They're targeting the immigrants who are easiest to get: those who show to court and follow the rules. It's a great way to ensure that undocumented people stop coming to court.

They're also already ensnaring U.S. citizens.
Trump immigration raids snag U.S. citizens, including Native Americans, raising racial profiling fears
A U.S. veteran and Navajo residents have been asked for identification. Critics are complaining of racial profiling as raids and deportations increase.

It’s worth emphasizing that the Colombia fight was not about accepting deportations. It was that the Colombian president demanded deportees be treated humanely, and not as props for Trump’s performative cruelty. That simple request for decency was enough for Trump to instigate a trade war.

For folks who say, "Why should I even bother calling my Democratic Senator? They'll vote the right way..."

I need you to understand that when Dem electeds try to justify why they're cowering in terror from Trump right now, the VERY FIRST THING THEY CITE is:

"no one's calling my office"

Except Fetterman. Interesting.
All D senators — except Fetterman — sponsor resolution condemning pardons for those who assault led Capitol Police on Jan. 6.

By a longshot, the most common mistake people who are into politics make - from seven-figure strategists to randos offering Takes online - is overestimating how much attention normal people pay to politics, how much they know, and how deeply they think about it.

*Vastly* overestimating.
Saw a "Democratic strategist" say "we have to earn people's trust back." Just mind-boggling that so many don't understand how this works.

Did voters in 2024 say "I trust the Republican Party"? No. They were mad at those in power. Democrats have to get them mad at Republicans. It's not complicated.

May I recommend setting up a Proton mail and not using your government work email to file a complaint. And don't do it during your tour of duty hours. Document everything. This isn't legal advice. Just advice from a friend.
Feels like a good time to remind everyone that if you are a public servant wishing to report retaliation, acts of corruption or abuse of government power, I have a page for that on my website: www.wyden.senate.gov/whistleblowe...
