Ugh, fine. I guess I'll go rewatch Warriors.

Direct 👏 community 👏 outreach 👏

No amount of paid media (coming from an ads guy!), TikTok/IG videos, or legacy media interviews will do more to endear the Democratic brand to voters than just being in the community providing a real service.
This Sunday, we’re hosting a back to school drive in Evanston with 500 free backpacks, all-day free haircuts, and free food by two of the best restaurants in Evanston!

Drop by the Fleetwood-Jourdain Center this Sunday afternoon to start the school year with everything you need!

With Trump set to use crime as a fake justification to threaten DC today, media coverage should make one thing clear: At this point his pattern of manufacturing pretexts for militarizing domestic law enforcement has become undeniable. Some thoughts on that here:

The most unsafe I've ever felt in DC was 1) when Trump sent the National Guard after peaceful protesters in June 2020 and 2) When Trump did not call the National Guard while an armed mob stormed the Capitol building on January 6. Trump is the "crime, savagery, filth, and scum"

That Dems aren’t blowing this up is political malpractice
Trump's recent conduct makes it seem MUCH likelier there's something really damning about him in the Epstein case file, and he and Bondi and Patel are attempting a coverup. But the other scenario is also very damning. Dems should use power to find out which it is. www.offmessage.net/p/epstein-li...

Trump: “Many of them were born in our country. I think we oughta get them the hell out of here, too.”

Let’s tally it up:
👉 Concentration camps (CECOT + "Alligator Alcatraz")
👉 Pushing DOJ to pursue denaturalization
👉 Attacks on birthright citizenship

Republicans desperately crave fascism.
Trump calls for deporting US citizens: "We also have a lot of bad people that have been here for a long time ... many of them were born in our country. I think we ought to get them the hell out of here too, if you want to know the truth. So maybe that'll be the next job."

Hell yeah.
DC Attorney General Brian Schwalb announced four new lawsuits against drivers from Maryland and Virginia. Between them, the AG’s office says, these drivers have racked up more than a thousand traffic citations and more than $300,000 in unpaid fines.

This timeline has me agreeing with Massie. Good lord.

He is saying all the correct things right now and is more vocal against this war than Democratic "leaders."
Massie on Trump's Iran strikes: "There was no imminent threat to the United States, which would authorize that."

Biden, 52%: “low end approval”
Trump, 39%: proceeding “as expected”
At a hundred days into his presidency, Joe Biden had a 52% approval rating.

As we near the hundred days mark in his second term, Donald Trump has a 39% approval rating.

Here's how those numbers were framed by the media:

UPDATE: TELL YOUR FRIENDS WHO BOUGHT EVs IN 2024 AND WERE HAVING TROUBLE CLAIMING THE TAX CREDIT

The IRS has created a fix and reopened its portal to dealers for retroactive submissions beginning today!
NEW: The rollout of the EV tax credit was more troubled than anyone knew. Dozens of EV buyers' tax credit claims have been rejected as tax season gets underway. The issue is not related to Trump's war on EVs. But it will be up to Trump's admin to fix it. heatmap.news/electric-veh...

If the Supreme Court ultimately agrees with what the gov't is arguing today, that the President has broad Article II powers that would permit it to deport people & there can be no judicial review, then literally no one is safe.

Absolutely insane that Dems that don't have to worry about an election for at least 3 years are willingly giving Trump and Elon exactly what they want.

Fucking disgraceful.

I'll happily support primary challengers to every single one of them.
Democrats who voted for cloture's next election:
- Schumer (2028)
- Schatz (2028)
- Cortez Masto (2028)
- Dick Durbin (2026 but could retire)
- King (2030 and he's 80)
- Gillibrand (2030)
- Peters (retiring)
- Fetterman (2028)
- Hassan (2028)
