50 odd hours into Silksong and it might be the first game where I'm starting to agree with the "it's too hard" crowd.
It's not even that it's hard per se, its more that its sort of relentlessly unforgiving. Two mask damage everywhere, tolls, trap benches... its sort of dragging it down for me.

I had a really lovely walk on Sunday, we went to Rivington terraced gardens. Got some real Edgar Allen Poe vibes at the top of the hill, completely surrounded by fog!

Played about 5 hours of Silksong... Fought ~4 bosses. So far it's good! Having Hornet as protagonist really changes how player movement and combat feels, but at the same time the rhythm of the game feels very familiar. I'm looking forward to the rest!

I just had a great weekend running The One Ring in person with my campaign group for the first time! And what a blast it was! VTT's are great but in person is really something special 🧙♂️

I saw the dinosaur movie! It sure had dinosaurs!
I think I liked it? It's sort of a "Lost World" movie meets the plot of Aliens. I liked the characters and a lot of the early dinosaur scenes. And it LOOKS fantastic, more movies should be shot on film!

I saw someone at the beach today, total stranger in the crowd but wearing a distinctive article of clothing (it looked nice! But definitively distinctive) - I open this app and the first post on my discover list is that person.
Like what are even the odds of that? Does the app know?

Back in Cornwall for Flora Day yesterday. Went to all the old haunts, and some new ones! Got a great view of the Hal-an-tow in Meneage St too - here's George slaying the dragon
