The MoCA is a screening tool for dementia. It is not an IQ test. A “high” score or even a “perfect” score is not a marker of intelligence level. It just means the person is not showing impairment suggestive of dementia or MCI. Anyone who says otherwise is saying not true things. #psychologist

Licensed mental health providers have an obligation to do no harm. So-called conversion therapy harms people and increases the risk of death by suicide. Every mental health professional organization opposes it. We need national mental health professional organizations to speak up.
