DanceOut Atlanta provides LGBTQIA community-centered country-western dance lessons (but open to all) and supports the weekly country western dance nights at the Heretic and beyond!

It’s June, International Pride Month! 🌈 We’ve got our debut Line Dance Tea Dance at @lore.atlanta this Sunday! Currently, we’re hosting this event on the first Sunday of every other month, so if you miss it, you can check us out again in August!
Our regular weekly events are holding strong, with Tuesdays at the @atlantaeagle with Daniel and Garrett, and Thursdays at the @hereticatlanta with Pascal and Terence! Our monthly Wednesday lessons for June will be line dance reteaches brought to you by Terence! So check out the beginner reteach at 7pm and the advanced reteach at 8pm on Wednesdays! Plus, we have several of our community members guest instructing, including Elliot, Jason, and H! So come and check out their lessons this month! The Eagle will be sponsoring its annual show, Drag Down South at East Point City Hall on June 7th, with a special performance by DanceOutATL dancers! Come show your support with the local community and grab a lawn chair or reserve a table and catch some of the best drag Atlanta has to offer! We’ll also have our monthly Sunday Stampede on June 15th at the Eagle, our mo that Birthday Dance on June 19th, and we have our Friday Night Country Dance at Heretic on Friday, June 27th! Our schedules for April is up! Come and dance and learn!
April is showering us with lots of dance opportunities! Our regular Tuesday and Thursday dances at Eagle and Heretic are going strong with your instructors, Daniel, Garrett, Pascal, and Terence, and guest instruction from Gered! Music courtesy of DJ Ben and DJ Dice! This coming Friday, April 4th will be our Heretic Friday Night Country Dance! It’s coming up fast! Wednesday lessons at Heretic for April will be Intro to Line Dance, Teaching, and Choreography at 7pm! This is an opportunity for new dancers to get the fundamentals of steps! This is also a space for people interested in trying out teaching with a smaller group to develop some teaching skills and get community feedback! Likewise, if you’re interested in choreographing a line dance, we can use this time to work on putting steps together, things that make a line dance work well, and how to write one up. The 8pm lesson will be an intermediate/advanced line dance lesson! April 20th is our regular Sunday Stampede at Eagle, but it coincides with the Easter celebrations happening at Ansley Mall! We’ll be doing a small dance demo for the celebration before heading up into The Eagle to kick off our Sunday night of dancing! Please note that the celebration closes off and uses all the parking lot for outdoor festivities, so park over at the other section of Ansley Mall and walk over. As always, please remember to be patient and courteous to one another and to new dancers. We’re always growing in attendance, so please be patient with new folks as they learn the rules and dance etiquette. Likewise, new folks, please remember that this is a friendly space and to treat each other with respect and courtesy! We do best when we treat each other with kindness and warmth.
