I'm quite shocked to see a user-space Rust scheduler (rustland) competing and, in some cases, even outperforming other BPF or in-kernel schedulers.

Big shoutout to the @cachyos.org community for constantly running all these benchmarks! It's great motivation to keep improving!

Just came across Sandbox, a Rust-based tool which uses OverlayFS for creating lightweight containerized views of the host OS for safely running semi-trusted programs. Could be interesting way to modify and even install system apps on immutable #Linux distros, or test OS upgrades on regular distros.

Proton-GE's first v10 release is out! This is also the first version to include experimental Wayland support––something which Valve's Proton currently lacks!

You can enable Wayland support by setting "PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1" in the launch options.

For digital artists wanting to switch to Linux and don't think Krita is a capable tool, check out David's work!

There's really no need for proprietary apps like ClipStudioPaint, SAI2 etc. It's time to free yourself from corporate control and enter a brave new world where YOU are in full control.
Thank you, I have a channel with more tutorial www.youtube.com/@DavidRevoy/... , and a blog with how to install a graphic station for Linux www.davidrevoy.com/index.php?ta... , I hope it will help!

Finally got around to releasing a “stable” version of my Linux KVM control panel… and then a few more releases to fix things I couldn’t test for before the stable release. 😅

I need to really focus on the UI and documentation now.
