You know how I just had shoulder surgery? You know how I also got arrested a couple years ago? If you saw the body cam footage you'll hear me screaming about my arm. It happens to be the arm they pulled and the shoulder I landed on that I had surgery on. The damage can take a couple years to develop

I was trying to avoid this mutual aid request but here we are. I had shoulder surgery last Friday and I have no vacation time left. I'm in a shoulder cradle for 2 weeks and losing a good chunk of a paycheck. I'd be so grateful for help right now and can pass it forward when able! Venmo: protestmom

I've historically kept my personal life separate from my online activist presence for safety but with my arrest and subsequent court hearings (and doxxing 🙃) it seems fairly pointless now. With the Tiktok ban and Facebook getting extra shitty I'll be doing more to be my authentic, full self here.

I am going to attempt to appeal my conviction assuming I am able to hire a lawyer. At this time I have no funds with which to do that and it is highly unlikely I will qualify for a court appointed appellate attorney. I would sincerely appreciate a boost. $protestmom same on venmo
