This addition is a huge step in making transit safer and more accessible for Midway Manor residents and the surrounding area.

The inbound portion of South Street West from the Ridge Street entrance to the bus shelter will be CLOSED from 9 to 11 AM.

CAT’s Trolley route will be rerouted via McIntire Road to Market Street to maintain service to nearby areas.

On June 30, the Charlottesville Circuit Court granted a default judgement in the Zoning Ordinance lawsuit after the City’s outside counsel failed to meet a required deadline.

Building permit applications, including trade and fire permits, are still accepted and processed.

🚸Traffic Advisory: 700 block of Park Street emergency work 🚸

Emergency tree work is necessary to remove broken tree limbs, overhanging power lines, and the roadway. Residents are asked to please move their vehicles from the area. Work is anticipated to take approximately 6 hours to complete.

Water service at Forest Hills Park will be temporarily shut off on June 17 from 7:00 AM to approximately 1:00 PM. The restrooms and splash pad will be closed during this time.
